White Sage Bundle

Burning sage to purify your space or a person’s energetic field, referred to as Smudging by many Native American tribal communities, is an ancient, indigenous spiritual practice. Our White Sage bundles are sustainably grown and harvested by a reputable, ecologically-centered source in California. White Sage holds many undisputed medical and spiritual benefits; White Sage is antimicrobial and antibacterial and it is believed to be a great ally against illness, stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia or mood disorders. Tradition suggests that smudging with sage can literally lift one’s mood and banish negativity.

Honeywolf Mercantile recommends setting intentions and calming your mind before smudging for spiritual purposes. Remove pets from the intended space before you light your bundle and rest bundle in a fireproof tray as you smudge (Abalone shells are perfect for this). It’s VERY important to open a window and door (or all of them!) before, during, and after smudging to allow smoke to escape. Honeywolf Mercantile was founded by artist and spiritual practitioner Erica in 2020. After nearly two decades as a film and television makeup artist, the pandemic illuminated a new path. She pivoted from Hollywood to her lifelong practice of folk magic and conjure, trading sets and studios for soy wax and spellwork.

What began in a garage—hours of trial, error, and alchemy—has grown into a climate-controlled workshop nestled in the Georgia woods. Here, Erica blends her artistry with her 30+ years of Rootwork practice, crafting clean-burning soy candles free of phthalates, petroleum, or animal byproducts. Each flame is dressed with herbs, roots, and flowers she grows or gathers.
